I’ve been trying to bone up my foreign policy credentials a little lately so I thought a meeting with Putin would be in order. As I usually do when I meet a head of state I gave him a small gift – in this case some welder’s glasses which I thought would symbolize the history of steel mining in Punxsutawney. I didn’t expect him to put them on right there and I didn’t expect Drudge to pick up the photo op but luckily I have a good sense of humor about these things so here ya’ go!
